What is Womengineer Day?
A networking event where fresh or soon-to-be graduates meet senior female engineers from selected companies.
Who can participate?
Womengineer Day targets you who define yourself as a woman, or non-binary, and have a maximum of 2 years remaining of your engineering studies or maximum 3 years of work experience post-graduation.
Why should I join?
- Discover new companies that you otherwise might never have considered, or get to know an already familiar one better.
- Talk to future colleagues in a relaxed way and ask questions about the work environment, company culture, and other topics that can be difficult to learn online.
- Apply for a summer job, trainee program, internship, master thesis, or full-time job or even hand out your CV.

In 2023, our participating companies were AFRY, Avanza, Kognic AB, Kongsberg Maritime Sweden AB, Ramboll, Recorded Future, Skanska, and Swedish Space Corporation. Find out more about each company here.

What is required of us when participating?
For participating companies, Womengineer Day is not a heavy resource commitment. The focus is rather on ensuring that fruitful connections are made between the right people. Just make sure that your top female engineers are present at the event and we’ll do the rest.
